    Guidelines

    • No ongoing commitment required — book one session at a time

    • Both partners must be ready to take ownership of actions, reactions, and effects on each other

    • Homework is required to turn insight into action

What can we expect from couples therapy?

Our sessions focus on honesty, accountability, and repairing your connection. You’ll learn to break harmful patterns, communicate deeply, and rebuild intimacy.

How do I know if couples therapy is right for us?

Couples therapy works best for partners who still love each other but feel stuck, disconnected, or caught in repeating arguments. Both partners must be ready to engage fully.

Who should not pursue couples therapy here?

This therapy is not for couples where one partner is unwilling, for those only wanting to vent, or for relationships with active emotional or physical abuse.

How long is each session and what is the cost?

Sessions are 90 minutes (unless otherwise arranged). See our rate listed at the top of this page for current pricing. Insurance is not accepted because each session is highly personalized. View our insurance and payemnt policy frequently asked questions here.

Do we need to commit to multiple sessions?

No ongoing commitment is required. You can book one session at a time, though consistent work, both in sessions and at home, is needed for real progress.

    Is homework required?

Yes. Between-session exercises help you apply insights, practice new skills, and foster lasting change in your relationship.

    What happens during the intake?

Your intake covers relationship history, attachment styles, personality traits, and core values. This helps us tailor therapy specifically to your relationship.

What if only one partner wants therapy?

Therapy is most effective when both partners are committed. If one partner isn’t ready, the work may not create meaningful change.
